Push Notifications
Push notifications show up as the device's system notifications, even when the SupportHub tab is in the background or closed. Push is personal: each operator turns it on for themselves on their own devices, and project settings have no push option. Which events send a push is set in your notification settings.
How to Enable
- Open Profile and find the “Push notifications on this device” card.
- Click the “Off” button in the card header — it changes to “On”.
- Allow notifications when the browser asks.
One subscription covers every project where you're an operator: pushes arrive from each of them for the events you have enabled there. Push has to be turned on separately on each device and in each browser. To turn it off on a device, click the same button again.
What pushes look like
- Notifications for the same ticket are grouped into one entry, and tapping it opens the ticket.
- When you open a ticket, its notifications are cleared from the notification tray — on this device and on your other devices where SupportHub is open in the same project.
- If the device was offline, a push waits up to 12 hours to be delivered.
Check — test push
With push on for the device, the “Push notifications on this device” card has a “Send a test push” button. It checks the whole chain: server keys → push service → browser/app → OS permissions. The test push ignores work hours and event settings, so if it arrives but real ones don't, the cause is your schedule or settings, not the subscription.
- If you're currently outside your personal schedule in some project, a warning under the button lists those projects — real notifications from there arrive once your window starts.
- If the device wasn't subscribed to one of your projects (e.g. you joined it after turning push on), the test subscribes it and says so.
- If the subscription is stale, the test removes it and asks you to turn push off and on again.
- If the test was sent but no notification shows up, check the notification permissions in the device settings.
When notifications arrive and when they don't — see “Work hours and the on-duty badge”.
