For Admins
Workspace & onboarding
A workspace (called a “project” in the interface) is your company's isolated space in SupportHub. Each project has its own operators, channels, settings and data.
Creating a project
After you sign up, SupportHub walks you through a four-step wizard:
- Create Project — the project name and slug. The slug is filled in from the name and can be edited: lowercase Latin letters, digits and hyphens. You see right away whether it's taken.
- Bot Setup — a Telegram bot token from @BotFather. You can skip this step and connect channels later.
- Team — operators by email. This adds people who already have a SupportHub account; invite everyone else — see Operator invitations. This step can be skipped too.
- Done — a summary and a way into the inbox or the project settings.
Along with the project you get:
- the Widget and API channels, already switched on;
- an operator with admin rights for the owner. The owner works tickets like the rest of the team but doesn't take up a seat: the plan's operator limit is counted without them.
A new project starts on the platform's default plan — the free Starter in the cloud. You can try a paid plan: ask support and the platform admin turns on a trial (usually 14 days). See Payments & billing.
- If the platform requires email confirmation, you can only sign in after confirming.
- If the platform moderates new projects, a new project stays suspended until the platform admin approves it.
- One user can own a limited number of projects — three by default. If you need more, write to support.
Where things are configured
There's no separate General section. Project settings live under Settings, in groups: Channels, Texts & broadcasts, Operator tools, Team & routing, Project & access. What people usually look for first:
- Timezone and schedule — Settings → Work Hours.
- Logo — the widget has one: Settings → Widget Builder, the Brand section.
- Interface language — each user picks their own: Profile → Language.
- Plan and balance — Settings → Plan & billing.
- Reply ratings 👍/👎 (one switch for the whole project) and links to each channel's ticket rating — Settings → Ratings.
The slug is part of the project's addresses. The owner can't change it: the name and slug (the “project key”) are renamed by the platform admin. After the key changes, old links with it stop working, while links like ?ws=<id> keep working.
