WhatsApp for customer support
You connect a WhatsApp number with a QR code, just like WhatsApp Web. Customer messages land in a shared queue, and several operators answer them from the same number.
Hi, can I switch to a different plan starting today?
Of course. I've switched it, and the difference will be adjusted on your next invoice.
One number for the whole team
No more handing the phone over at shift change or keeping a shared account open on someone else's computer. Each operator replies from SupportHub, and customers write to the same number as before.
Photos and files
Screenshots and documents from customers arrive in the ticket, including ones sent as disappearing messages. Operators can send an image or a file in reply.
One customer history
If a customer writes on WhatsApp and also on Telegram or by email, you can merge their contacts, and the conversations from every channel end up on one card.
How to connect
- 1
Open the channel settings
Settings → Channels → WhatsApp. Details
- 2
Scan the QR code
From the phone that uses the number: WhatsApp → Linked devices.
- 3
Reply from SupportHub
New messages show up in the inbox.
FAQ
Is this the official WhatsApp Business API?
No. The number connects as a linked device, the same way WhatsApp Web does. You don't need to register with Meta.
Does the phone have to stay on all the time?
No. But if the phone stays offline for about two weeks, WhatsApp unlinks the device. SupportHub will warn the owner, and scanning the QR code again is all it takes.
